Corn Biscuit Sticks

These unusual corn sticks are made with biscuit mix and cream-style corn along with melted butter and garlic salt. Scroll down for more traditional corn sticks, cornbread recipes, and corn muffins.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 cup cream-style corn
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • garlic salt

Preparation:

In a mixing bowl, combine biscuit mix and cream-style corn with a fork until a soft dough has formed. Beat with the fork until stiff; transfer to a lightly floured board and knead 6 times.

Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into 4x1/2-inch strips. Roll the strips gently to smooth the edges. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Combine melted butter with about 1/4 teaspoon of garlic salt or garlic powder. Brush strips with about half of the mixture.

Bake at 450° for 10 to 12 minutes, or until nicely browned. Brush with remaining butter mixture; serve hot.
