Ingredients:
- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 2 large cans (28 ounces each) baked beans
- 2 cans (8 ounces each) pineapple tidbits or chunks, drained
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- Dash cayenne pepper
Preparation:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, and bell pepper; fry until ground beef is no longer pink.
Combine the ground beef mixture with the remaining ingredients in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
Serves 6 to 8.
