Hot Ham and Asparagus

This makes a good topping for croissants, toast, or rice.

Cook Time: 4 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound ham, chopped
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and chopped
  • 1 can condensed cream of asparagus soup
  • 8 ounces smoked Gouda cheese, cubed
  • 4 green onions (scallions with green), sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped sweet red pepper or pimiento

Preparation:

Combine ham and asparagus and all remaining ingredients in the slow cooker/Crock Pot. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours. Serve hot over croissants or toast points.
Serves 4.
