Ingredients:
- 2 cups lentils
- 8 ounces diced ham
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (1 medium onion)
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients with 2 quarts water in the crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Taste and adjust seasonings. Serve with crusty bread or rolls.Recipe shared by Tex.
