A delicious fruit compote, so easily made with canned fruits and spices. Serve this as a dessert or side dish to dinner or breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 can (approx. 15 ounces) sliced peaches in syrup
  • 1 can (approx. 15 ounces) sliced pears in syrup
  • 1 can (14 ounces) pineapple tidbits in syrup
  • 4 small cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, fresh if possible
  • dash ground cloves
